St. Bartholomew The Apostle Center For Spirituality
Our first offering of the year was a book study that was offered on Wednesday mornings after the 9:00am Eucharist and then again on Wednesday evenings. We studied Can You Drink The Cup by Henri Nouwen.
Our next offering begins on September 11 at 9:20am. This course is entitled: “Living Well, Dying Well: examining our Christian Pilgrimage.” This course will meet each Sunday morning through December 18 and will be lead by The Rev’s Keith Stephenson, Kent Keller, and Seth Richmond. Using the sacramental life as a starting point for our journeys in Christ, we will explore ways of responding to the grace that has been made available to us by God. The course was created by our leaders and was also influenced by the work of Tom Long’s book, The Christian Funeral: accompany them with singing.
In conjunction with this course we will be offering a book study on C. S. Lewis’ book, The Great Divorce. The times will be announced.

On Sunday, November 13, we will be hosting a workshop for gluten free baking. Gluten Free Baking. We hope this workshop will help inform and increase our ability to become more sensitive to the dietary needs of others, and thus more hospitable.
